Lush Review: Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser

This is the cleanser that I've been using for the past couple of days. I just bought this last Saturday and I've used it about every other day since then. I really like it! When I was contemplating on buying it at Lush, the sales guy said that the lavender flowers would be the thing that does the exfoliating. I knew it wasn't that. (well, who knows if it helps, but I don't think so!) I used to used St. Ives Apricot scrub, but it is a little too harsh to be used on the face. I read somewhere that it would be better to be used a an all over body scrub because it's very inexpensive. Well, moving on, let me get on to the review:

Things I like:
- it exfoliates
-the ground almonds aren't harsh at all
-it easily mixes to a paste with water
-it leaves my skin feeling so soft!

Things I don't like:
-the smell. I don't HATE it, but I'm not too fond of it.
-that the shelf life is around 6 months. I'm pretty sure if I use it regularly, I'll use it in that time though.

How I use it:
First, I wet my face with warm water, then I put a piece of Angels on Bare Skin in the palm of my hand (the size of a marble?). I add a tiny bit of warm water and smash it with my finger to mix it, and apply it to my face, exfoliating my skin as I go. Then I rinse my face with warm water! Viola! Done!

Overall, I really really like this face cleanser. It's fairly easy to use and leaves my skin feeling really soft. I don't really like the smell, but it's not like it lingers on my face after rinsing, so the smell doesn't really make a difference. It's a really gentle exfoliating cleanser and I alternate between using this cleanser and my other Lush cleanser, Aqua Marina (review coming soon!)
